Professional Jack,
Very simple, this is a great jack. No issues with leaky cylinders, extremely well built and assembled and extremely light. You find yourself realizing the fit and finish is so good on it you try to keep it clean.
Also in terms of jacks after seeing friends with garbage Chinese made jacks, including Craftsman brand leaking and loosing lift after a year I was not going to even bother.
Got mine from E-Tools and has no problems.
If you are buying this for racing or even garage use you will not be disappointed.
My only gripe? The non removable graphics on the jack. I would prefer just the OTC logo.

Do your research.. Most aluminum “racing jacks” appear to be rebranded identical units sold by online retailers as well as brick and mortar chains such as Harbor Freight, Summit Racing, Jegs, O’reilly, Advanced Auto, AutoZone, PepBoys, etc etc. They are all around the $125-150 range. There are some scathing reviews online, warning potential buyers of embarassingly quick failures after minimal use.
I could not find any negative reviews of the OTC 1532. Coincidentally(or not), the OTC is the only one with a lifetime warranty.

|OTC 1532 Aluminum Floor Jack,
For the money, this was the best aluminum floor jack I could find. It’s a step above my Torin T81510, one of the only other aluminum jacks I could find that meets ANSI/ASME standards. I needed a second jack, and since the Torin T81510 has been discontinued, I looked at the Arcan 2-ton model, but was nervous about the lowering speed. The Harbor Freight jacks scare me, and Sears jacks are not what they used to be. I chose the OTC 1532 based on what others said in the various reviews, especially regarding the manual. Of course, a lifetime warranty helps. Only time will tell, but so far, I’m pleased with the purchase.
