Excellent light and visibility compared to OEM,
The light is white and gives premium look.
It was very bright and made huge difference from OEM brightness level.

|A bit better than OEM,
So to be fair, I must disclose that I am replacing a 6000k HID kit with these Philips CrystalVision halogen bulbs. I say this because as anyone who has driven an HID equipped vehicle will tell you, halogen bulbs to do not compare to HID. Also, the vehicle being equipped with these bulbs is a 2006 Pontiac G6.
On to the bulbs. The bulbs have a very slight blue tint on the glass with a deep blue tip. When installed, the bulbs color is not easily noticeable from within the housing. Which I consider a good thing. Nothing is tackier than seen deep blue bulbs reflected in the headlight housing when the light isn’t powered on. I want to say that at best, these bulbs offer slightly better than stock performance. Projected light looks OEM in color. The bulb “throws” the emitted light in the same fashion that OEM bulbs do. The only noticeable difference with these bulbs compared to OEM is the color of the bulb while the light is on. The blue tint to the glass does give the bulb the claimed “HID Look” that Philips claims.
All in all, I can’t say that I recommend these anymore than stock OEM replacement bulbs.

Fantastic replacement for OEM lights on my Honda Pilot. I installed January 2011, and I am impressed. These work as advertised and are at least 15 to 20% brighter. Compared to the similar OSRAM SYLVANIA lights, these are a better value. Recommended.
