Great Replacement Handle,
This is the second time I replaced our handle. The first time with another oem handle and it lasted about a year. This handle is made from a heavier material and I expect it to last much longer.

|06 Sequoia Liftgate Latch,
Just received and installed this today in an 06 Sequoia. A little disappointed in that the handle is still plastic (I thought I had ordered one with a metal handle). Installed with no problem. I guess only time will tell if this ‘new’ handle will stand the test of time and not break again.

|Buy this and replace handle now before it breaks,
This is the third time I have replaced the handle on my wife’s Sienna. The originial equipment design is inherently poor; this is a plastic handle that is under a lot of stress. This replacement is made of solid metal and it is a lot more sturdy.
If your handle has not broken yet, it will. Best to change this now as it is easier to change BEFORE it breaks. This product is outstanding in strength/ durability.
